I'm a beginner and can't do a {insert fancy pose}. Is YTT right for me?
Everyone (even beginners) are welcome. If you are just starting out, chat to us and commit to practice as much as possible prior to your course commencement. This also helps you to get the most out of your training by making yoga a focal point in your life.
How do I know if I'm ready for YTT?
One of the amazing things about Yoga Teacher Training is that by learning to teach yoga, you become a pro at practicing it! Trust that our course will give you all the tools you need to learn to teach and practice at your best.
I would love to be a yoga teacher, but the thought of getting up in front of people scares me...
One of the most valuable things you'll learn during your YTT is how to embrace your fears and move beyond them. During your yoga teacher training, you'll work from day one to build your leadership and facilitation skills, as well as your yoga expertise. By the time you graduate, you will be so well practiced you could teach yoga with your eyes closed!
Is there an exam {'cause I really hate exams!}
Yes! We want you to walk out of Odyssey’s YTT the best teacher you can be. That said, we keep it as simple as possible for you and we cover everything in your course. As long as you are present and focused in class and do some after hours revision in the evenings, you will be absolutely fine. Just show up, be present, and you'll pass with flying colours.
How will I get a job teaching yoga once my YTT is complete?
We mean business: we show you every step of the way to becoming a loved and successful health and fitness professional. You’ll get access to exclusive Odyssey bonuses - think brand creation, goal setting, business strategy, marketing, social media, workshops, retreats, photo shoots, and more.
So I complete YTT with Odyssey, then what? How do I keep growing?
The best way is to keep working with Odyssey MVMT towards your 500hr certification.
Our incredible specialty courses are 50hrs in length and feature Yin Yoga, Super Sequencing Advanced Anatomy, Sacred Philosophy, Mindfulness Training, Breathwork and Kundalini and Passion, Purpose, Progress {Business Training}. You can take them one-by-one or all together.
I'm not sure if I want to do just online, or come to Bali when I can to do the course in person?
Never fear, we've set this up for you so you can get the best of both worlds. If you're sure you want to come to Bali at some point, you can join online YTT and access our full online course, with the option to upgrade to 'both' and join a retreat to complement your training experience when the time is right for you.
