“You can only become truly accomplished at something you love. Don’t make money your goal. Instead, pursue the things you love doing, and do them so well that people can’t take their eyes off of you.”

– DR. MAYA ANGELOU

In this module, you’ll be introduced to the key subjects in your Yoga Teacher Training course.

First, we’ll dive into Philosophy and explore some of the key questions that Yoga seeks to answer. You’ll then discover Anatomy and get clear on why a deep understanding of Anatomy will set you apart as a yoga teacher. In Practice Lab we will commence with the basics of Teaching Yoga and look at the Integration Series.

As you discover and explore this work, we invite you to do so with a sense of curiosity and wonder. Some of the key concepts may be familiar to you, if so, review and go more deeply into your application of the knowledge. Take special interest in anything that is new.
Each week you are invited to go deeper into personal reflection. These questions are for your personal growth (and your growth as a teacher) and you can record your answers in your personal journal.
